Greg Makris, M.D, Ph.D
President and founder
Greg graduated from the medical school of Athens and then moved to the UK to do a PhD in vascular surgery and imaging at Imperial College of London.He is currently holding an Academic Clinical Fellowship at Cambridge University. His main interest is interventional radiology and endovascular surgery.
George Malietzis, MD, MSc, MRCS
Vice President and co-founder
George graduated from the medical school of Athens and then moved to UK to train as a surgeon. He has done his Core Surgical Training at East of England Deanery and holds an MSc in Cancer Therapeutics from Queen Mary University
He is currently a Honorary Clinical research fellow (ST3+) in Colorectal Surgery at St. Mark’s Hospital
Vagelis Alexiou, MD, MSc, PhD
Vangelis graduated from the medical school of Athens, was awarded an MSc in Intensive Care Medicine, and then moved to the UK to train as a surgeon.He has finished his Core Surgical Training at East Midlands Deanery South and currently is working to present his PhD thesis in surgical infections. Vangelis is a research fellow at the Alfa Institute of Biomedical Sciences (AIBS), Greece and member of the institute's Development Committee.
Marinos Makris, MD, MSc
Marinos graduated from the Medical school of Athens and then moved to the UK where he completed a master's degree in surgical technology at Imperial college of London. His dissertation was in the field of bariatric surgery in diabetic patients.
